Debt Collection Solutions (DCS) Ltd undertakes to protect the good name and established reputation of its clients at all times and further undertakes not to harass their customers, misrepresent the position of Debt Collection Solutions, or its clients, or adopt working practices which are illegal or which in the opinion of its clients, are morally wrong or ethically questionable.

Debt Collection Solutions Ltd will comply with all prevailing statutory and regulatory requirements including licensing or registration requirements. Any change to or restrictions on these licenses or registration shall be immediately advised to its clients and confirmed in writing.

Debt Collection Solutions Ltd will keep confidential and not disclose any information held or obtained regarding its clients and their respective businesses to any third party including another debt recovery agent without specific written consent from the client.

Debt Collection Solutions Ltd shall strive at all times to be factual and accurate in correspondence and conversations with customer's or their representatives and will not comment any way adversely on a customer's character, race, religion, sex, social standing or any personal characteristics.

Debt Collection Solutions Ltd will ensure:

  • Sundry Debts are collected by an Enforcement Officer rather than a Bailiff
  • Bailiff's/Enforcement Officer's working for Debt Collection Solutions are expected to be of smart appearance
  • Bailiff's/Enforcement Officer's are fully aware of any vulnerable customer's and will refer cases where they feel action is not appropriate or other agencies should be informed of a customer's situation
  • Debt Collection Solutions team is trained to carry out their duties with firmness, but strict fairness
  • Bailiff's/Enforcement Officer's carry with them identification and where appropriate written authority from the client to act on their behalf
  • Extreme care is taken when making enquiries concerning customer's and confidentiality at all times
  • Documentation of any visit is always left at the customer's property
  • Where payments are not being maintained a letter will be sent to the customer, requesting payment, before proceeding with further action
  • At all times the Debt Collection Solutions team will act in accordance with the law, this code of practice and instructions given by clients
