We are currently seeking an Enforcement Officer to be based in the South West region. Our field staff are all self employed and paid on a commission only basis that is linked to collection rate performance.

As an Enforcement Officer you will be required to visit debtors at their place of residence or other associated locations. You will be expected to build a good rapport with them and have an ethical approach in order to secure a suitable course of repayment in accordance with our client's needs.

Previous experience of working in a debt-collecting environment is desirable but experience of handling pressurised situations and being customer focused is essential.

The successful candidate will be able to manage their own workload, be competent in cash handling, and maintain accurate customer records as well as maximising payments from debtors using their interpersonal skills, negotiation techniques and an ethical approach.

You must hold Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) A to C and be able to demonstrate competency in everyday use of Maths and English as you will work independently and have to use your own judgement when dealing with debtors.
